Privacy Policy

Wortha · by Dozaware  ·  Effective 30 August 2026  ·  support@dozaware.com

The short version. Wortha is local-first. Your inventory lives on your device. We don't run accounts, we don't collect your data, and we can't see your photos.

What Wortha stores, and where

Your spaces, items, quantities and settings are stored only on your device, encrypted at rest with AES-256. The encryption key is held in your device's secure enclave — the iOS Keychain, the Android Keystore, or your browser's WebCrypto storage on the web.

Wortha has no user accounts and operates no server that receives your inventory.

Because your inventory is ordinary app data, it is included in your device's own cloud backup — iCloud Backup or Google backup — under your device's backup settings and its encryption. Restoring your device restores your inventory. Deleting the app deletes your data.

Photos and AI scanning

When you scan a photo, the image is analysed by an artificial-intelligence service to identify the items in it. This happens only when you start a scan.

If you have entered your own AI provider key in Settings, the photo is sent directly from your device to that provider under your own account and their privacy terms. We never receive or store it. Demo scans send nothing anywhere.

Wortha does not keep your photos after a scan completes.

What we collect

Nothing. Wortha contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs and no trackers in this version.

If a future version adds optional cloud sync or diagnostics, this policy will be updated before that ships, and the feature will be opt-in.

Permissions

Camera and photo-library access are requested only so you can scan a space, and both are optional — the Demo scan works without either. Wortha requests no location, contacts or microphone access.

Children

Wortha is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
